After watching last week’s conference championship games, I made some observations that I think are worth mentioning.
As a lifelong NFL fan, I know I’m not alone when I say that this weekend is by far the least anticipated weekend of the season. Yes, even less anticipated than a random week in the offseason. The Pro Bowl is hands down the worst ‘All-Star Game’ (yes, I put that phrase in quotes because it’s that bad) in all of the major sports, and it’s not hard to see why.
Last Saturday I attended my first NFL playoff game. It was also my first road Packers game and the first time I have entered Candlestick Park as an enemy in foreign territory (previously, I have attended with fellow 49er fans and cheered for the home team). Continue reading
